My friend invited us to go tubing on a river in her grandmother's backyard. The water was freezing, but it was a lot of fun. We had to leave the two younger ones home.Natalie is not a big fan of the cold. There was a hot tub to get in after and it was 102 degrees that day so that helped.
It would be fun to have a river in your backyard.

That looks like the perfect river to have in your back yard - not too deep and not too swift! I'm with Natalie, though - its not fun to be freezing! If they could just heat up the water a bit, it would be perfect!
What a great activity. But I am a little wimpy like Natalie. After living in the South with warm lakes and swimming pools, I can't go back to the freezing cold lakes in Utah and Washington! Too cold! But it was good it was so HOT to warm up quickly.
