HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIA!
Julia turns one today. She is a joy in our family. We call here Jules(Jewels) and Sissy. Her first words were "Hi there". She loves to eat cantaloupe. She is standing, but not walking. She has the cutest smile and loves to flirt with boys.
What a difference a year makes. When Julia was born, she was 7lbs 8 oz, but her lungs had not quite developed. She had an infection and when she was delivered the doctor noted that her placenta had partially pulled away from the uterus. It was very upsetting having her on a ventilator in the NICU. The nurses would not let you hold her and she was sedated. The hardest part was coming home without her. I begged and pleaded to have her home as soon as possible and thanks to my nursing skills I got to have her home early. She has been thriving ever since. She weighed 20 lbs at 6 months and has not had to go to the doctor for anything but well child check-ups. We love you Jules!!!!!
